About The Founder
Jen Hayes Lee
Jen is a passionate content champion and Marketing executive dedicated to the creation of culturally relevant inclusive storytelling, developed to inspire and empower families of color. As the Head of Marketing at The Bump, Jen stewards Marketing and Editorial initiatives to support parent and parents-to-be as they navigate life with baby. Over the course of her career, Jen has worked across the Media and Digital space, leading brand strategy and audience engagement efforts at Hearst, Complex Media Networks and Saks Fifth Avenue. Personally, Jen’s life has been profoundly touched by cancer with the loss of both parents and her recent quest to become a breast cancer previvor. Jen’s recent accolades include being named as one of Emory University’s 40 Under 40, Brand Innovators 40 Under 40, and MommiNation’s “More Than A Mommi” award recipient. She holds leadership roles as a board member for Son of a Saint and founder of The Golden Hoop Project in partnership with Emory University/JScreen. At home, Jen is the self-proclaimed #BlackBoyJoy Curator, residing in New Jersey with her husband and 3 sons.
